PUPPETRY for BEGINNERS
Wednesdays 7-9pm 25th February - 18th March 2026
An introduction to puppetry design and making, this course explores the different styles of puppetry and includes practical sessions on making puppets and creating characters.
All materials will be provided.

UPCYCLING WORKSHOP
Fridays 7-9pm 17th, 24th April & 8th, 15th March 2026
For those interested in learning tips and tricks on upcycling and recycling clothes to avoid sending them to landfill. A chance to learn some sewing techniques, swap ideas and work on some of your own clothing items.
Participants will need knowledge of basic hand stitching, experience of machine sewing is an advantage but not required for these introductory workshops.

FUSED GLASS WORKSHOPS
Wednesdays 7-9pm 29th April - 20th May 2026
An introduction to using fused glass as a medium.
Participants will learn the use of tools and equipment, cutting glass, designing pieces and practical making and firing sessions.
All materials will be provided.
LEVEL: Beginners SESSIONS: 4 x 2hrs COST: £150

ILLUSTRATION WORKSHOPS
Wednesdays 7-9pm 17th June - 18th July 2026
An introductory course on drawing illustrations.
Participants will learn different styles of illustration including cartooning, manga and book illustration. With practical sessions led by a published illustrator. All materials will be provided.

1 DAY WORKSHOPS

FUSED GLASS
Saturday 21st March 2026 10am-4pm
A one-day workshop for those interested in trying out working with fused glass as a medium. Participants will have the chance to make two pieces of fused glass artwork which will be fired and available for collection at a later date (or can be posted for a small charge).
All materials and beverages will be provided,
participants should bring a packed lunch.

WEATHERING/BREAKING DOWN COSTUME
Saturday 30th May 2026 10am-3pm
A one-day workshop aimed at stage managers, art and costume department teams and film makers. Participants will learn practical methods of weathering and breaking down costume for use on stage or screen.
All materials will be provided but participants are welcome to bring their own items to use.
Beverages will be provided, participants should bring a packed lunch.

DECORATIVE PAINT EFFECTS
Saturday 13th June 2026 10am-4pm
A one-day workshop for those interested in learning how to creative decorative paint effects which can be used to upcycle household items. Participants will gain practical experience in painting such effects as marbling, stone, rust and verdi gris.
All materials and beverages will be provided,
participants should bring a packed lunch.
